A Marietta man is accused of tying a woman’s hands together with zip ties and raping her.

David Martin is being held in the Cobb County jail without bond on four felony charges including rape and aggravated sodomy.

According to an arrest warrant, Martin had an argument with a woman and prevented her from leaving a residence. He allegedly grabbed her by the hair and forced her into a chair after she attempted to leave.

She later tried to leave again, according to the warrant, and Martin grabbed her by the hair, forced her into a bedroom and tied her hands together with zip ties. Police say Martin prevented her from leaving for 12 hours and she had visible abrasions to her wrist from the ties.

Martin is accused of raping the woman while her hands were tied and threatening her with a handgun.

Police also say that Martin bound the woman’s feet together and tied her neck with a rope, attaching the other end to a chair.

I simply DO NOT BELIEVE THIS!!!! Dave would NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS!! NEVER!!! He has too much love and respect for his family, and himself!!! Why can a man not yet convicted have ANY VISITORS?? Something about this is NOT RIGHT!!!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!!! MAYBE A WOMAN SCORNED??? I DON'T KNOW, but all I can think about is his kids, and him sitting in jail!! Too many men have been falsely accused!! This is crazy unbelievable!!!

Once a victim

What someones demeanor is like around others isn't necessarily, how they act around ONE PERSON.... If he did commit this rape he will do it again! FACT!

I know David Martin and can't believe that he would do such a thing. Is this story real? I mean this is absolutly 1000% out of his character. You can't find anything about the story in the news which leads me to belive either they don't have all of the fact together or it's just not true. I'll be back once I hear all of the facts.

Did it happen on or near Franklin Rd? NOPE or it would be plastered on the front page in the biggest font that would fit.
