Marcus Florestal, 17, was arrested Oct. 14 on a charge of interfering with government property. Police say Florestal used a knife given to him by another student to cut an L-shaped hole in the back of the bus seat in front of him before returning the knife to the student. According to the warrant, the damage to the school bus amounts to $60.

Florestal has since been released from jail on a bond of $2,420, according to jail records.
