The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Michelle Lester of Mableton on Oct. 11 after she reportedly spat blood into a deputy’s face. Lester has been charged with simple battery on a policeman, as well as reckless conduct. According to the warrant, the officer was attempting to block Lester from throwing water at him when she called him a derogatory term and spat in his face, “endanger(ing) the bodily safety” of the deputy.

Lester remains in the Cobb County jail as she has not posted her $5,720 bond, jail records indicate.
