Dear Editor: The “Better Instead of Bitter” article was a joy to read. Inspiring, yet somewhat tragic for this man. The story told in the MDJ concerning Sam Bracken is one of heartache, tears, loneliness, and then joy with more tears.

I commend the MDJ for putting this on the front page, overshadowing the day to day political humbug we are diluted with whether paper, TV or radio.

I applaud Rachel Gray for her insight and willingness to report this story, and of course your wisdom to make it front page. Please continue this trend when possible. May God bless this country, men as Sam Bracken and the MDJ for your conservativeness.
