Chamber delusional on Bus Rapid Transit

DEAR EDITOR: Who wants it? Who needs it? Who will pay for it? When will our Cobb County Government cease being outmaneuvered and guided down the path toward another financial debacle by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and its “Buddy for Money” Association?

If this $1 billion Bus Rapid Transit proposal should ever become a reality, it will obviously add another endless and noxious debt on top of every already overburdened and overtaxed Cobb County citizen household and taxpayer.

Cobb needs to forget about any $1 billion BRT System that only benefits a very small percentage of its population.

What a waste of valuable time and tax dollars. And the Chamber of Commerce has the audacity to call this a vision? It’s more likely a delusion.
