The selection of seven new North Georgia State Fair beauty winners highlighted the opening day of the annual fair and was accompanied by fabulous weather. Fairgoers were treated to a parade of excited young ladies who modeled their favorite dresses and displayed their best smiles on the stage of the Main Arena. The emcees for the event were Anna Tucker, 2014 Miss Cobb County’s Outstanding Teen, and Taylor Voyles, 2014 Miss Cobb County. About 80 contestants competed in seven age divisions. The winners include:

Tiny Miss North Georgia State Fair (3 to 4 years old): Nina Grace Barbaree, 4, daughter of Matt and Shelly Barbaree, of Woodstock. She is a pre-K student at Smyrna First Baptist Church School.

Petite Miss North Georgia State Fair (5 to 6 years old): Karys Paisley Pickens, 5, daughter of Kendall and Kendra Pickens, of Calhoun. She attends pre-K at Coble Elementary School.

Little Miss North Georgia State Fair (7 to 9 years old): Kalin Moultrie, 7, daughter of Bob and Kelley Moultrie, of Roswell. She is a second-grade student at Garrison Mill.

PreTeen Miss North Georgia State Fair (10 to 12 years old): Maxine Allen, 10, daughter of Mark and Christine Allen, of Woodstock. She is a member of the fifth grade at Shiloh Hills Christian School.

Junior Miss North Georgia State Fair (13 to 15 years old): Lauren Debranski, 15, daughter of Ron and Andrea Debranski, of Woodstock. She is a sophomore at Etowah High School.

Teen Miss North Georgia State Fair (16 to 17 years old): Copelyn Jue, 17, daughter of Allen and Debi Jue, of Marietta. She is a senior at Lassiter High School.

Miss North Georgia State Fair (18 to 24 years old): Katherine McCauley, 20, daughter of Jack and Rebecca McCauley, of Marietta. She is a junior at Kennesaw State University. McCauley will compete in the Georgia Fair’s Queen Pageant, which will include fair winners from across the state in Atlanta in January.

The fair pageant was managed and conducted by the Miss Cobb County Pageant for the North Georgia State Fair Association. Steve Duncan was the chairperson for the event.
