Davin Antonio Mitchell of Mableton was charged Sept. 7 with multiple felonies and misdemeanors.

The felonies include aggravated assault with a weapon, terroristic threats, and possession of a firearm.

The misdemeanors include discharging a weapon under the influence, reckless conduct, and pointing a gun. His bond has been set at $25,000.

Mitchell is accused of kicking his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach, firing a pistol in the air, and threatening several people all while under the influence. The warrant states the responding officer “could smell the strong odor on an alcoholic beverage on his breath and (see his) glassy red eyes.”

Once in jail, Mitchell admitted to drinking alcohol, according to the warrant.

Mitchell has been convicted on aggravated assault charges on previous occasions as well. He is now in custody of Cobb County police.
