KENNESAW — A Kennesaw man remains in the Cobb County jail on allegations he was using his computer to share pornographic images of children.

Christopher Charles Bush, 41, was arrested Wednesday on charges of five counts of distributing child porn at his home in the 3500 block of Kennesaw State Drive in Kennesaw.

According to the arrest warrant, Bush is accused of sharing five separate computer images of young girls engaging in a number of sexual acts with men and photos of their private areas. He allegedly shared these images electronically May 22 and 23, from his home computer.

Two of the images were of girls under the age of 10, the warrant states.

It also states Bush exchanged these images through a program called Ares, which is an online peer-to-peer file-sharing program.

A news release from the Kennesaw Police Department states that evidence for these charges was collected by their department, the Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit and the U.S. Secret Service.

Officer Scott Luther with Kennesaw Police Department said investigators believe Bush worked in the Internet technology field and did not ever work with children.

If Bush is found guilty on these charges, he faces five to 20 years in prison and up to a $100,000 fine.
