MARIETTA — Jennifer Phoenix of Loganville was arrested Friday afternoon on a felony count of impersonating a police officer.

Phoenix was arrested on North Marietta Parkway, just east of Cherokee Street, after police say she told a woman on Facebook that she was Officer Phoenix with the Cobb County Police Department.

“In an attempt to conduct a personal investigation,” the warranted stated, Phoenix was gathering information about a third party whom she claimed was harassing her.

Phoenix was released after an hour on a $2,500 bond.
