DEAR EDITOR:

Congratulations to the MDJ for carrying on front page the most significant local story of the year.

“Ivutin: U.S. on track to become U.S.S.R.” hit exactly the cause of much of the fear and anxiety that racks our country today. In the wake of what happened to the editorial writer at the Chattanooga Free Press, publishing this on the MDJ’s front page as news shows the courage that will be needed to turn this Titanic around.

To be clear, I am not an active tea party member, although I am in sympathy with almost all their beliefs. Way to go, MDJ. I clip one article or editorial about every six months that has enduring value. I’m clipping this one to save.

Mr. Taylor, please disregard the resident clown and comic relief, Kevin Foley. Skip his blog. He has nothing to say, but insists on saying it anyhow.

Depend on him to defend Obama no matter what the fool does.

Reading his nonsense makes you want to take a bath in disinfectant.

"Most significant story of the year?" If you consider Ivutin spewing absurd and completely uninformed opinions is significant then I agree.

For a reality check, see my latest blog.
