A Powder Springs man was indicted on three counts of sexual battery, according to a press release from District Attorney Vic Reynold's office.

The indictment was handed down on July 25.

Jerry Westbrook, 69, is charged with touching the buttocks of three young girls in a pool at Six Flags Whitewater, 250 Cobb Parkway North, Marietta, on Sept. 2, 2012.

If convicted, each count carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Senior Assistant District Attorney Eleanor Odom is prosecuting the case, which is assigned to Cobb Superior Court Judge A. Greg Poole.

Westbrook is represented by Atlanta attorney Bruce Steven Harvey and is free on bond.

An arraignment date has not been set.
