Lynching now as wrong as lynching then

DEAR EDITOR:

This fiasco they call a “trial” in Florida in the Zimmerman case is nothing more than a kangaroo court. What the president all the way down to the prosecutor wanted was a legal lynching. They had a weak case to prosecute and were grabbing at straws.

What ever happened to the rule of law? I am disgusted with our self-ordained dictator and his lousy law-breaking crew. The news about the Florida Attorney General’s behind-the-scenes actions to favor the prosecutors and obvious boot-kissing of the trial judge is enough to make one nauseous.

This country was founded on laws which are being ignored. I wanted as much as anybody to see justice done. Yes, blacks were lynched in the past and it was a horrible wrong, but to lynch others now is stupid and sinful. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
