Andrew Pate of Kennesaw is accused of threatening his girlfriend with a handgun during an argument.

Pate reportedly pointed the gun at her head while he accused her of cheating on him. Pate then allegedly led his girlfriend around their home while holding the gun to her head to look for evidence of cheating. Pate’s girlfriend was able to call 911 and she said Pate threatened to shoot her if she opened the door for police officers, according to the arrest warrant.

Pate was arrested by the Kennesaw Police Department on June 21 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and false imprisonment, both felonies.
