Marietta Fish Market server charged with stealing credit card info

A Marietta Fish Market server faces charges after allegedly stealing six customers’ credit card information.

According to warrants from the Cobb County Sheriff's Office, David Bates of 1649 Stillwater Park Court, Marietta, is charged with six counts of identity fraud, which is a felony.

Police have not said if Bates used the card information to make any purchases, or even what he did with the credit card info. 

Bates was arrested by the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office and jailed on a $10,000 bond.

The arrest was made based upon the diligent observations of a new employee in his second day...the credit card numbers were never used because management confronted the employee about his behavior. MFM could have just fired the guy and he would have been free to go elsewhere. The actions of the owner should be applauded and the negativeimplications about Marietta Fish Market turned to positives!
