MARIETTA - Marietta Police are trying to reroute traffic west of the 120 Loop on Roswell Road after power lines were downed by what they believe was a truck accident.

Officer Dave Baldwin said Roswell Road just west of the 120 overpass is blocked on both sides of the road and could closed for the next three hours while crews from AT&T try to repair the downed lines.

Baldwin is not exactly sure what caused the incident but traffic in that area is really bad at this time.

"Some traffic is being funneled to the loop but it's a huge mess," Baldwin said. "We are trying to get people rerouted.
