The game was scoreless before the Lady Hoyas (18-1) broke through, first on Aycock’s goal.

Allison Leone saved all four shots she faced, leading top-seeded Harrison into Tuesday’s semifinal, in which it will host Region 8AAAAAA runner-up Brookwood. The teams scrimmaged against one another Feb. 5, with the Lady Hoyas losing 2-0.
Lassiter closed its season with a 14-4-1 record, suffering just its second loss since mid-February.
Whitewater 12, Allatoona 2: The Lady Buccaneers were outplayed in the Class AAAAA state quarterfinal.
Last year’s Class AAA state champion, with a lineup that included five freshman starters, couldn’t match up with Whitewater defensively.
Willough Davis scored Allatoona’s first goal on a pass from Suzanne Arafa in the 22nd minute to cut the lead after Whitewater had already scored four goals. Aleiya Armstrong capitalized on an Arafa pass in the second half, but the game was out of reach with Whitewater already leading 8-2.
Allatoona ended its season with a 13-6-1 record.
Lassiter 18, Centennial 2: Johnna Fusco had three goals and five assists in the one-sided victory, advancing the Lady Trojans into a Class AAAAAA semifinal at Area 2AAAAAA rival Walton on Tuesday.
Cydney Tutchton had three goals and two assists. Mary Carter Putman, Lucy Mills and Alyssa Gattis each had two goals.
Lauren Weatherhead had five saves for Lassiter (14-5-1), which led 8-1 at the half.
Walton 12, Alpharetta 2: Erin McBride found the net five times in the quarterfinal-round win that set up the Class AAAAAA semifinal meeting against Lassiter.
Walton (17-1-2) shut Alpharetta out in the second half after the score was tied 2-all at the half.
Sophia Watkins and Sydney Baker added two goals each for the Lady Raiders. Hunter Corbin, Lizzie Missel and Kylie Houlthouse each scored one.
Goalkeeper Emily James had 12 saves in goal.
Northview 16, Pope 8: Brayton Wadella scored five goals as Pope came up short in the second round of the Class A-AAAAA state tournament.
Parker Lavelle added two goals and an assist for the Greyhounds. Liam Lynch provided a goal and an assist.
Joe Harman had 11 saves at goal, but it wasn’t enough. Northview took an 8-3 lead at the half to set the tone.
