The Raiders won Game 1, 6-5 in eight innings, and Game 2, 7-6.
Walton (23-8) will play the winner of the Tift County-Newnan series. The two teams split on Thursday and will play the deciding Game 3 tonight. If Tift County wins, the Raiders will host. If Newnan wins, Walton will be on the road. It will be the first time the Raiders have advanced to the quarterfinals since the 2008 season when they made it all the way to the championship series.
Trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning of Game 1, the Raiders tied the game when Henry Rowling connected a two-run homer. Logan Barnett walked and then scored on a passed ball earlier in the frame.
In the eighth, Reid Hanner scored from second on an error with the game-winning run. Hanner was pinch running for Rowling.
Stephen Wrenn went 2-for-3 with a home run and an RBI.
In Game 2, pitcher Will White took the blunt of five first-inning runs from the Blue Devils, but stayed in the game and finished with just four earned runs in six innings pitched.
Rowling lead the offense, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBIs. Aaron Rzuzidlo was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Mount Paran Christian 7, King’s Ridge 2: The Eagles scored three runs in the first and two in the second to take control of the game and roll into the Class A Private School state semifinals.

(25-3) will now travel to George Walton Academy on Monday for a doubleheader.
Matt McKenzie hit a two-run homerun. Robert Wilson pitched six innings, allowing three hits to earn the victory.
In Wednesday’s doubleheader, Mount Paran Christian (25-3) split with King’s Ridge, losing Game 1 6-4, but coming back to even the series with a 5-1 victory in Game 2.
Isaac Phillips homered, while Jordan VerSteeg earned the win with a complete game two hitter.
East Coweta 3, Marietta 2: Evan Steele recovered to pitch six innings after allowing three first-inning runs, but the Blue Devils couldn’t complete the comeback.
Eric Henderson went 1-for-3 at the plate with a homerun in the second inning.
Marcus Mitchell went 2-for-3, Bradley Piggee had a hit and scored a run, and Travis Wildermuth had an RBI.
The loss eliminated Marietta (22-9) from the Class AAAAAA state playoffs.
East Paulding 8, Kell 0: The Longhorns struggled early, allowing six runs in the first inning and never recovered.
With the loss, Kell (19-12) was eliminated from the Class AAAAA state playoffs, but more importantly proved to be the last game for head coach Donnie English. English announced his retirement earlier this season.
The defense was shaky, committing three errors in the opening inning.
Bradley Taylor went 2-for-3 at the plate and Brady Smith had a hit.
