LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — A Bourbon County horse owner says seven of her mares turned up pregnant. She doesn't own a stud.

WLEX-TV (http://bit.ly/XYQFsj ) in Lexington reported Marilyn Montavon then noticed a horse she didn't own was in the pasture and she said it had "all the right equipment."

The feed and veterinarian bills are increasing and Montavon is distressed. Two mares have already foaled.

Montavon said it appears someone dropped off the colt about a year ago. She didn't notice because she lives elsewhere and has a farm hand feed the horses.

The stud has been sent to the farm of one of Montvon's friends in Illinois.
