Harvey N. Hyatt Jr., 86, of Marietta died Friday, April 5, 2013. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Marietta with Rev. Dr. Bill Ross and Rev. Dean Hunter officiating. Mr. Hyatt lived most of his life in Atlanta and Marietta. He served in the US Navy during WWII, The Reserves, and was called back into the Navy for The Korean Conflict. Mr. Harvey retired from Chevron Oil Company was a member of First Baptist Church in Marietta. He also taught children’s Sunday school, was a member of American Legion, VFW, and the Disaster Relief Team sponsored by the Southern Baptist Convention. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Camp Hyatt of Marietta; several cousins; and several nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Marietta, 148 Church Street, Marietta, Ga 30060. Family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Marietta. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta will be handling the arrangements.
