A Bartow County man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly making threats against a Cobb County Superior Court judge.

Paul Lavalle Nally of Rydal was charged with making felony terroristic threats in an email he allegedly sent to the Cartersville City School System Board of Education on Jan. 29.

According to an arrest warrant in Bartow County, the 67-year-old Nally wrote threats against Cobb Superior Court Judge Adele Grubbs over a property dispute.

The warrant states that Nally wrote, “It’s beginning to look as if we’re going to have to make use of the 2nd Amendment,” “I’m in the mood to used deadly force to protect my friend’s property interest from illegal arrest,” and “Adele ought to be stood to the wall at sunrise for what she did to Mark!”

The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit made the arrest Wednesday after a two-month investigation into a complaint alleging Nally sent the threat to multiple people in the Cartersville school system.

“Since the alleged threat originated from Bartow County, the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney’s Office provided assistance during the investigation as well as with the arrest of Mr. Nally,” said Cobb Sheriff Neil Warren in a news release. “This is yet another example of law enforcement agencies from different jurisdictions working together.”

Nally was released on a $5,000 bond.

I sure hope this 2-month investigation found an actual threat somewhere beyond an expression of one's "mood" and how they think things "ought to be" no matter how dumb it is!?!? Cannot imagine J. Grubbs being terrorized by an email sent to the Board of Education. Will be watching for more ...

Hot off the printers at your Bartow County Courthouse !!

The State of Georgia vs. Paul Lavalle Nally

Charge: Terroristic Threat (against an allegedly corrupt Cobb County Superior Court Judge)

NO – BILL !!!

Permit me to thank the taxpayers in advance for allowing an incompetent Sheriff's Office to increase my revenue in a year or two from a malicious prosecution, illegal arrest, illegal detention and illegal punishment for the exercise of a fundamental right to express my opinion.

Thanks, folks, I'll enjoy as much of your insurance money as possible. Y'all just keep electing incompetent and corrupt public officers, and i'll (or someone) will keep collecting.

Who needs the lottery when you've got the facts and you're working on God's side??!!

Still, there is one more Grand Jury to go in October.
