From staff reports

A Marietta man faces felony assault charges after he allegedly shot two people at his home.

William Dennis Devore is being held without bond in Cobb County Jail after he is accused of shooting a man in the face and a woman in the head with a .22 caliber handgun.

According to an arrest warrant, Devore shot David Fourquart three times — once in the face near his right eye and in his side and rear — at 1:20 a.m. on March 31. He also fired at Lanigua White, who was struck in the head, according to the warrant.

Devore was charged with felony aggravated battery disfigure and two felony counts of aggravated assault.

He is being held without bond because authorities say he was arrested in Franklin County while attempting to flee the state.

Officer Mike Bowman of the Cobb Police Department said the case is still under investigation.

Why don't you give an update on the condition of the two people who were shot. We all would like to know.

I am a close friend of Laniqua White, I can inform you Citizenlmaero that my friend is doing much better day by day. She survivored four gunshots, but by the grace of God Laniqua is still here. Pray that my friend continue to recover and pray for the gunman that God will help him. Thank you!
