Robert Rider, age 77, of Marietta Georgia, died March 21,2013. He is preceded in death by his son Mike Rider. He is survived by his wife Irene Rider; 5 daughters, Pam Rider, Tammy Rider Fain, Robin Rider Dockery, Rachel Rider and Rebecca Rider; 2 sons, Tony Rider and Tim Rider; 2 sisters, Mae Gwens and Florence Fincher; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Rider was a member of The Confederate Veterans, as well as a Mason and member of the C.E.R.T. Funeral services will be held Sunday March 24, 2013 1:00pm in the Chapel of Castellaw Funeral Home in Smyrna Ga. Interment will take place at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones Saturday March 23, 2013 from 2:00 pm – 8:00pm at the funeral home.
