Peter Dominick D’Alema was born May 9, 1922 in New Jersey (one of twelve siblings) died March 18, 2013 in Marietta GA at the age of 90. The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 22nd at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta with Monsignor John Walsh officiating. Interment will be at in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. D’Alema was a Navy veteran, Yeoman 1st Class, during WWII. He had also worked as an accountant, auditor, chief operating officer and a home builder. Mr. D’Alema was a religious family man, loving father and husband. He was married to Agnes Francis Griffin for 60 years who preceded him in death March 25, 2003. Mr. D’Alema is survived by three children, Diane Martin, Gary D’Alema, Guy D’Alema; one sister, Kay; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from tonight, Thursday, March 21st from 10 AM until 8 PM at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (770) 424-4924.
