Mr. William O. Beasley, Jr., age 92 of Smyrna passed away March 13, 2013. He was born May 31, 1920 to the late William O. Sr. and Eloise Beasley. He was retired from the 359th Fighter Group 8th Air Force having served during WWII and the Korean Conflict and also retired from Lockheed. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Louise Beasley, his two children, Pamela (Terry) Cashman of Snellville, GA and Stanley Beasley of Atlanta, GA, one granddaughter Laura Cashman of Snellville, GA. four sisters, Louise Hardin of Marietta, GA Helen Ross of Columbus, GA. Bobbie Brown of Macon, GA and Betty Bowen of Byron, GA, sister-in-law Freida Hall of Eastman, GA., and nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Elizabeth Beasley and Quinelle Miller, brother Jeff Beasley and granddaughter Melissa Cashman. Family will receive guests on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Carmichael Funeral Home, Smyrna, GA from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Services will be conducted by Dr. Wayne Fain and Reverend Chuck Allen at Central Baptist Church, 1502 South Cobb Dr., Marietta, GA 30060 on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1 PM followed by interment at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, GA.
