I have a name for the Republicans who are collaborating with President Obama, who has beggared this great country: “Vichy Republicans.”
During World War II, there was a French regime which collaborated with the German forces that had invaded and conquered France. The regime was Vichy France.
John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Chris Christie, among others, are Vichy Republicans.
After the Allies defeated Germany and the other Axis powers, some of those Vichy French were tried by France. When Republicans take back over the government in this country, unfortunately we can’t try Vichy Republicans, but we can — now — kick their lousy rear ends out of office ... or at least the voters in Arizona, South Carolina and New Jersey can ... assuming they show more sense than they have up to now.

What you call compromise is known to fair minded people as "capitulation".
His basic action was appeasement and cooperation with the Nazis. It is a form of Stockolm Syndrome and I believe McCain and Graham are two prime examples of this problem.
After you remove all the trimming, it is betrayal, plain and simple.
I envy the after-the-war French government's action taken with Pierre Laval. Well, maybe that's too harsh for McCain, Graham and Christie.
But they definitely are guilty of betraying their own.
One thing one can say about Democrats. They may be evil. They may stand for heinous things (killing babies and Godless Communism), but they do stand together (sort of like a witches coven?).
If the Republicans showed the same kind of sticktoitiveness, they could defeat Obama and his minions.
Oh, well.
What's was it that Will Rogers said? I don't belong to an organized party. I'm a Republican. (OK, maybe he didn't say that, but it applies, nevertheless.)
Notice that its Democrats, not Republicans, he refers to.
Maybe Rodgers didn't say that. Maybe execution is too harsh for Mc Cain, Graham and Cristie.
