Carter W. “Dub – Bubba – Paw-Paw Moss died Tuesday March 5 , 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday March 11, 2013, Graveside at The Historic Oakland Cemetery of Atlanta with Rev. Dottie Cook officiating. Mr. Moss is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Margie Lawrence and her husband Jim Lawrence of Arlington, Texas and Shirley Perdue and her husband Steve(Graham) Perdue of Smyrna, Georgia; four grandchildren, Anne Lawrence , Donna (Cayce) Stamps, Billy (Jen) Perdue and Bobby (Bambi ) Perdue; four great-grandchildren, Payton Stamps, Lyla Stamps, Stevie Stamps and Gray Perdue; niece, Jean Perdue; nephews, Charles Moss, Jim Donaldson, Bob Donaldson; great nephew, Dan Moore and other great nieces and nephews. Mr. Moss was a member of the Peachtree Corners Christian Church of Norcross, Georgia and a member of South Hills Christian Church, Ft. Worth, Texas. He was retired from AT&T long lines, member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, member of 552 Engineer Heavy Ponton Battalion and a charter member of the Kennesaw Mountain Beagle Club. Mr. Moss was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII receiving the Bronze Star and The Purple Heart The family will receive friends 2-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
