Claudine Skelton Jackson, age 78, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, following an extended illness. Mrs. Jackson was born on February 11, 1935, in Cleveland, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bernard Alvin Jackson. Mrs. Jackson retired from the Cobb County School System having served as a para-professional with 25 plus years of service. She was a member of Noonday Baptist Church in Marietta. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Mark Akin officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
