Two men remain in the county jail after a late-night brawl broke out at a Marietta bar last week.

One of the men hit a bouncer over the head with a beer bottle and pulled out a gun while the second got into a fight, according to the arrest warrant.

The incident reportedly occurred at Runaround Sue’s off the Church Street Extension in Marietta about 3 a.m. Thursday.

Aslong Antwain Pierre, 20, and Mark Lenard Pratt, 21, were arrested Thursday and remain in the Cobb County Jail without bond.

Pierre was charged with felony aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Pratt was charged with misdemeanor battery.

Pierre is accused of hitting a bouncer over the head with a beer bottle as the bouncer was attempting to break up a fight.

He allegedly then went and got a pistol out of a car in the bar parking lot and was walking back toward the bar when an officer stopped him.

The warrant states that Pierre was convicted in May 2010 on charges of theft by receiving and battery of a school teacher.

Pratt is accused of getting involved in a fight that caused the bouncer to be injured.

“(Pratt) began punching the victim in the face and the back of the head, causing swelling and bruising around the eyes,” according to the warrant.

Officer David Baldwin with Marietta Police said he could not say how the injured bouncer was doing, but, according to the police report, he sustained a “substantial laceration” on the top of his head and his left eye was swollen and bruised. His face was covered in blood, it stated.

I've heard this stuff happens regularly there? I was with family over the weekend and heard about this..apparently there was a swarm of other people jumping on the same bouncer and the man held his own pretty good fighting back against the mob but got cracked with a couple bottles..good thing the guy was caught before he made it inside with the gun..would be nice to see more of them going to jail though..might straighten them out..

How careless of Mr. Pierre to actually tattoo his IQ ("32") where just anyone could read it.

Here, again, we have yet another example of a select group of people (given every advantage & opportunity) who revert to type.

I'm sure their mamas are proud...The one that went to get the gun should be charged for attempted murder. That's the only thing he could have done once he got back in there.

This place has been an eyesore and a nuisance to Marietta for years and it is time for it to be shut down before someone dies.

OK, so do these two punks get a slap on the wrist and back out to do this again? Battery on a teacher in his past? Lock this "young adult" up and put him to hard labor with no ESPN or music for most of his adult life. We need to rid the streets of this vermin.

Why is Runaround Sue's still in business after all the violence? Is it that people kill people, and Runaround Sue's is blameless in everything that people do there? Like guns are blameless? Right! Of COURSE!

By that logic, a bottle was used to hit the bouncer over the head. Where is your call to ban glass bottles?

Bottles don't cut people....

With a #32 tattoo on his forehead it must have been easy to identify the suspect. #beautiful

At this point, it is also fair to assume that this #32 character is armed and dangerous.
