Mr. Harold Mines age 84 of Marietta, passed away Thursday, February 28th. Funeral services will be held 2:30 Monday, March 4th at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Rev. Dawn Britt officiating. Interment will be in Milford Baptist Church Cemetery in Marietta. A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Mines served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #160 and a member of Nelms Masonic Lodge for over 40 years. Surviving are: 2 Sons, James Harold & Clarence Joseph Mines both of Marietta, Daughter Anita Darlene Gibson of Dallas, Brother Paul Patrick Mines of Acworth, 2 Sisters - Lucy Mae Mines Murray & Emily Mines Watts both of Marietta, 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.
