Make your reservation to dine with your favorite local celebrity. On March 16, the Georgia Symphony Orchestra hosts its 6th Annual Celebrity Luncheon & Silent Auction from noon to 3 p.m. at Marietta Country Club. A celebrity, who has graciously volunteered their time, is seated at a table with eight to 10 patrons and is available to share stories and answer questions. Celebrities come from different walks of life including former governor, artists, authors, chef, singer, executives, columnists and the mayor. Patrons can choose the celebrity they wish to sit with when making their reservations.

The keynote speaker is Dick Yarbrough, an award winning syndicated columnist, humorist, artist and author. He is a retired vice president of BellSouth and served on the 1996 Olympic Committee.

“(The Celebrity Luncheon) is a fun way to support the GSO in their efforts to make music and education accessible across the region,” said Susan Stensland, executive director of the GSO.

“It is a great opportunity to meet local leaders from industry, the arts and our local government in an relaxed social setting and at the same time support a great cause,” said Linda Moore-Connor, publicity chairman for the 2013 Celebrity Luncheon.

The country club is located at 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive in Kennesaw.
