obb Police are search for a pair of armed robbers they say held people in their bedroom while they ransacked their home.

In a news release, Officer Mike Bowman said two black men forced their way into a home in the 2600 block of Hicks Road south of Marietta by approaching the home’s residents while they were entering the house.

The suspects made the victims stay in a bedroom while they trashed the house and took various unknown items before leaving, police said.

Police say one suspect in the robbery, which was reported at 7:43 p.m. Friday, is 5feet 11-inches tall with a muscular build and carrying a black unknown caliber semi-automatic handgun. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a ski mask.

The other suspect is 5-feet 8-inches tall with a thin build and was carrying an unknown caliber handgun. He was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a ski mask.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call (770) 499-3945.
