MARIETTA – A man was killed late Tuesday in a car accident on South Cobb Drive, police said.
Police have yet to release the name of the driver of a maroon 2009 Kia Spectra, which entered the westbound lanes of South Cobb Drive near Walker Street while driving east near Walker Street. Police said a 2010 Lexus RX350, driven by 38-year-old Cherise Brown of Marietta, collided with the Kia. After the vehicles came to an uncontrolled stop, they were hit by a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 39-year-old Charles Bryden of Marietta.
Cobb Police have identifed the driver of the Kia’s as 19 year old David Munlyn of Marietta.
Brown was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, while Bryden was not injured in the accident, which happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
