SMYRNA – Smyrna Police are looking for a suspect reportedly accused of shooting and killing a man in what they believe is a drug-related incident Sunday night.

According to a release from Officer Michael Smith with Smyrna Police, his department is investigating the shooting death of 48-year-old Kenneth Anderson of Smyrna.

“At approximately 10:18 p.m., police received a report of a man being shot at 2145 Kennesaw Way,” the release states. “Upon arrival of police, the victim and resident … was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.”

“The shooting does not appear to be random as it appears to be drug-related,” the release continues. “At this time I do not have any suspect information available for release.”

Carjackings, murders, corruption,.. oh my!!

Guess Smyrna's having a tough time trying to try to sell their little world as the 'utopia' they put out in press releases, eh?

The murder yesterday on Griggs in Marietta was just a few miles up South Cobb.

When city (& county) elected officials don't get up off their rears, address the issues, roll up their sleeves & do the HARD WORK of what ever it takes to be competitive & bring quality businesses to your area,..the results are the declining condition's that we are seeing.

There has been no effort to bring manufacturing or high tech to Cobb.

Other counties are booming in manufacturing jobs!

Cobb County,.. the new south Dekalb!!
