I can't tell if you are just an easily led dolt who likes to regurgitate nonsense heard from others or if you are an intentional anti-semite who still wants to deny what Hitlers boys did to the Jewish population during WWII...once they were disarmed.
Perhaps you believe that ovens and gas chambers and the like -- that one can be more easily led into when they are not armed -- are more healthy than running the risk of someone being killed by a gun. And no doubt you believe that no one (other than the "gun nuts", of course)would ever think of harming you or taking away your freedom.

Nazi Germany is a great straw man for you guys isn't it? Do you honestly believe you and your huntin' buddies could defeat the US military? First, it's absurd. Second, it's treason.
I believe you live a charmed life, isolated from the realities of the world outside your Starbucks populated neighborhood (campus?). If so, you are blessed. I am glad you are able to enjoy your latte safely and peacefully.
Please do not underestimate how the mere act of being armed (or belief that you are armed) can make the predator class at least think twice about how far they want to go with you.
Also, know that it only takes having one unarmed loved one killed or physically victimized by predators to bring home the desirability of having our loved ones armed to defend themselves against the predators. NOTE: the police are NEVER around when the thugs are doing their thuggery.
