Cobb, Marietta superintendents conducting town halls

Here are the town hall meetings scheduled for this week:

* Rep. Ed Setzler (R-Acworth) and Cobb Superintendent Michael Hinojosa will debate the charter school constitutional amendment in a forum at Lassiter High School, 2601 Shallowford Road in Marietta today at 7:30 p.m. JoEllen Smith, Mt. View PTA Legislative Committee member, will moderate. Written questions will be taken from the audience.

* Marietta City Schools Superintendent Emily Lembeck will host Coffee Talk, a community dialogue, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Lockheed Elementary School, 1205 Merritt Road in Marietta. It is an informal opportunity for discussion with the Marietta community about topics of interest and importance in the school system.
