AUSTELL — Cobb Police have identified a bicyclist who died in a crash Sunday evening as Ronnie Turner, 54, of Austell.
The crash happened about 6:46 p.m. Sunday on C.H. James Parkway at Humphries Hill Road. Investigators said the bicyclist was eastbound on Humphries Hill Road and was crossing C.H. James Parkway against the traffic light, when he was struck by a Dodge Challenger driven by Adam Yarbough, 20, of Powder Springs, as the bicyclist pulled into the path of the Dodge.
Turner was dead at the scene, police said. Yarbough was not injured and is not expected to be charged, they said.

Your only option other than to run the light is walk over and push the pedestrian button or hope a car pulls up to trigger the light.
Did he have to cross "against the light" rather than wait forever at yet another red light that won't change for a bicycler because the Georgia DOT considers bicyclers to be sub-human and, dare I say, even worse than Democrats?
Does the GDOT think only Democrats ride bicycles and/or walk? Is that why the GDOT are determined to kill bicyclers and pedestrians with intersections that are a quarter mile across and have "keep moving" lanes for all the right turning people in cars?
Why are people in cars superior somehow to people who are not in cars? I don't get it.
