MARIETTA - Police are searching for a pair of cross-dressing robbers who tied up a clerk and robbed a pawn shop in Marietta.
Investigators for the Marietta Police Department released a video to FOX 5 News showing the two men entering the Cobb Pawn Shop located in the 1600 block of Cobb Parkway around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18th. One of the men was dressed in a wig and yellow purse. The other wore a dark windbreaker and carried a red purse.
The video shows one of the suspects pulling a gun from his purse and pointing at the clerk. The pair then proceeds to tie him up before making off with jewelry and money. They pair of cross-dressing thieves fled in a dark, newer model Suzuki Grand Vitara.
