The irony is not lost on me that the lead article in Wednesday’s newspaper reports that Tim Lee is not in favor of rescinding the $3 million Alternatives Analysis environmental study, while on page 5, the MDJ endorsed Lee for re-election as Cobb Commission chairman. I thought Lee’s involvement in and support of TSPLOST would have been enough for you not to endorse him. Now with the news that Lee wants to move forward with this ‘bridge-to-nowhere” type environmental study, your endorsement is baffling.
Bill Byrne isn’t perfect — who is? — but he is much too conservative to be so reckless with our tax dollars. I’m voting Byrne — Cobb County can’t risk another term with Lee at the helm.

I wouldn't even put it past Tim Lee to call up and suggest it as retribution for not voting for the TSPLOST.
