Brumby Trophy and Serious Column by Editorial Page Editor Joe Kirby, Headline Writing, Lifestyle Coverage and Newspaper Website.
The newspaper earned second place awards in Business Coverage by Staff Writer Katy Ruth Camp, the Joe Parham Trophy and Humorous Column by Columnist Dick Yarbrough, the J.C. Williams Trophy and Editorial Page, the W. Trox Bankston Trophy and Local News Coverage, News Photograph by Moon, Sports Feature Photograph by Sullivan, Feature Photograph by Sullivan and Photo Illustration by Sullivan.
The third place recipients were for Special Issues for Factbook 2011, Sports Photograph by Photographer Lindsay Fendt, Investigative Reporting by News Editor Kim Isaza for her coverage of the expenses through community improvement districts and Page One.
