It was around 11:47 p.m. when police said they responded to a noise complaint in the 3700 block of Devon Park Lane off Old U.S. Highway 41, just south of North Cobb High School. Police counted 92 teens and young adults in attendance, some of whom told police they learned of the party through Twitter.
After obtaining a search warrant, police said they found alcohol, drugs and 14 marijuana plants inside a bedroom closet, said Acworth Police Chief Wayne Dennard.
Officers arrested two 19-year-olds whom they said lived at the residence and were at the party. They were placed in custody at the Cobb County Jail.
Taylor Castorina was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors, minor in possession of alcohol, disorderly house, manufacturing marijuana, and possession of heroin. His bond was set at $15,000.
Sean Jones was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors, minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly house. Bond for Jones was set at $5,000.
Dennard said police are currently investigating whether or not the teens had a legal right to be at the home.
Another 14 people were arrested on underage alcohol consumption charges, according to police. Three juveniles were arrested and later released to their parents. Police said another person was released on a citation for a related violation.
