You may have wondered what the pomp and circumstance was all about May 27 at the Kennesaw home of Beth and David Scott. Harrison High School graduates Savanna McCraw, Alex Robbins and Taylor Scott, each graduating with honors, celebrated new beginnings. In the fall, Alex and Taylor will attend the University of Georgia and Savanna will attend the University of Alabama on a music scholarship. Taylor, daughter of Beth and David Scott, will study abroad her first semester in Spain.

Among the well-wishers: Connor Austin, Kim Barfield, Shannon Bayersdorfer, Lauren and Kelly Borders, Mary Burton, Treville and Bill Corn, Taylor’s grandparents Ann and Jack Corn, Marilyn Corn, Dana and Mark Crissey, Blake Doobrow, Alex’s mom and stepfather Lee and Eric Eason, Allison Kuse, Hank Manning, Beth Meyer, Chandler McCleod, Savanna’s parents Nancy and Steve McCraw, Taylor’s grandmother Jean Scott and Hal Vaughan.

Kyle will be heading to D.C. in early July and working for the senator until he returns to the University of Georgia for his senior year. He is a finance/management information systems double major and member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Kyle is a 2009 graduate of Kell High School.

Longtime Marietta residents Glenn and Ginny Gray, their three married sons (Rick, David and Thom) and their families have a summer tradition.

They make summer lunches for MUST Ministries, gathering together to create the sandwiches and pack sack lunches. They are part of a community of volunteers who help MUST serve 180,000 lunches to hungry children in six counties: Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas, Gwinnett, North Fulton and Paulding.
