GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. (AP) — President Barack Obama says the May jobs report shows that the economy is not creating jobs "as fast as we want" but vows that the economy will improve.

Obama says, "we will come back stronger. We do have better days ahead."

Obama was responding to the government's May jobs report, which showed that only 69,000 jobs were added during the month, the fewest in a year. The unemployment rate increased to 8.2 percent from 8.1 percent in April.

Obama faces a tight re-election campaign against Republican Mitt Romney. The president says the economy still faces a number of headwinds, including an economic crisis in Europe and higher gas prices which have hurt families.

Obama had his big chance and failed, which was no surprise when the electorate elects such a poorly prepared and dishonest candidate.

Franklin Roosevelt was quoted saying:

"Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education."

I'd go further and say that education alone is worthless without the ability to "discern", coupled with "good common sense", when combined gives "wisdom".... Guess that leaves out 99 percent of voters....

This administration is simply pulling at straws. The media should be strung up for their lack of holding them/Obama accountable.

Anybody but Obama.

Mr. Obama again is misleading our country. The world is heading for a second dip recession, possibly deeper than the recent one. His comments give false hopes and are meant only to serve his re-election bid.

We must stop this inept, dishonest man from ruining our country. ANYONE BUT OBAMA.

Come back stronger? Stronger than what? An economy just before its bubble bursts?

What new bubble is he going to create? That green energy thing hasn't been working out: the Solyndra pump & dump was just one of many shady green "deals" gone sour for the taxpayer at a cost of billions.

I can't trust this guy and his Chicago friends.

Enconmy will come back, after the election when Obama is gone. Stock market will go up 500 points day after he loses election. Hopefully by November he has not done irreparable damage.

I lost my job last year. Obama had his chance. I don't care if he inherited this economy. He had two years with a Democratically controlled house and senate and didn't do anything but make things worse. I will vote in November for "ANYONE BUT OBAMA".
