BOSTON (AP) _ A Utah man who police allege viewed child pornography on his laptop during a flight from Salt Lake City to Boston is facing arraignment.

Massachusetts State Police say 47-year-old Grant Smith, of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in East Boston District Court.

Authorities say Smith was sitting in first class Saturday afternoon when another passenger saw the pornographic images and alerted the flight crew.

Smith was arrested when the plane landed at Boston Logan International Airport.

He has been charged with possession of child pornography. Smith was held on $15,000 over the weekend.

It was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
