Before kickoff tonight, get up to speed with all the action by joining host Katy Ruth Camp for the midweek Cobb Football Friday webcast.

*Marietta has won their past two games, and their defense is looking strong. Tonight they travel to Etowah for a game that could determine the No.3 seed from Region 5AAAAA. A win over the Eagles would keep the Blue Devils in a first place tie with Walton - can they do it?

*Walton is also on the road this week, traveling to Cherokee to take on the Warriors. With Lassiter defeating Cherokee 63-13 last week, the odds are the Raiders will be able to post a similar score.

*Undefeated Allatoona take on 5-1 Cedartown at Buccaneer Stadium. The Bulldogs have yet to beat a team with a winning record and the Bucs have only been allowing six points a game on defense. We spoke with Coach Varner about feelings on our Cobb Football Friday Game of the Week.

*Pebblebrook hosts McEachern after the Indians rough loss to Hillgrove. Will the Indians be taking their frustrations out on Falcons?

*Hillgrove heads to North Cobb fresh off their big win last week. The Warriors suffered a big 36-34 double overtime loss to Pebblebrook; will they be able to stop running back Kenyan Drake?

*Mount Paran hosts Class A powerhouse Bremen. They'll have to keep the Blue Devils in check if they want to play a home playoff game for the first time in school history.

Remember, pick up a copy of today's MDJ for the print edition of Cobb Football Friday and then check out Saturday's edition for a recap of all of tonight's games. On Sunday, come back to CobbFootballFriday.com and check out the game highlights with Sports Editor John.
