Mary Galbreath Smith, 77 of Marietta died on Thursday the 15th of September, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18th at First United Methodist Church in Marietta with Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews, Rev. Erik Mayes and Rev. Elaine Wilder officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Mrs. Smith loved her Lord Jesus, and she loved people. She was a graduate of Georgia Baptist Nursing School. Mary was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Marietta. Mary is survived by her husband, Dr. Sam R. Smith of Marietta; three children, Lisabeth Melnik & her husband, Tom of Clifton Park, NY; Ray Smith & his wife, Stephanie; Andrea O'Connell & her husband, Jeff all of Wilmore, KY; brother & sister-in-law, Gelon & Myrna Galbreath of Cairo; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law; nieces & nephews.
