The Charlotte Observer reported the FBI says 47-year-old Enid Albertha Collins of Lawrenceville, Ga., offered $1,500 to a man to kill her former husband at a restaurant in Concord.
Collins is accused of using interstate commerce facilities to try to arrange the killing of Andre Tyrone Davis of Virginia.
Agents say the dispute centered on the custody and support of the former couple’s twin daughters.
Davis would not talk about the situation.
Collins’ lawyer also refused to comment.
