Marilyn Anderson, 78, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Memorial services will be held May 15, 2011, 3 p.m. at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 2300 Jamerson Road, Marietta, GA 30066. A reception will be held after the services at the North Landing Clubhouse, 2165 Kemp Road, Marietta, GA 30066. Mrs. Anderson was born and raised in New Jersey and has lived in Marietta for 35 years. She was a preschool teacher for many years before retirement. She was married to her husband Paul for 57 years. Survivors include husband Paul, Marietta, GA; 2 daughters, Kristi Summers, Marietta, GA and Karen Folds, Marietta, GA; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to Hospice Advantage, 1925 Vaughn Road, Suite 200, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
