Make a Change

You know what? I heard that conserving water was easy. But is it? First, I bet you are wondering what conserve means. It means to use something carefully - to not waste it, not use it up; to not do it harm.

Yeah, it sounds hard, but it is not. You can just buy rain barrels. Pretend that it rains at night and in the morning, you don't want to use the water from the house, you can use the water from the rain barrel. That is very helpful to our planet. While you are watering your garden, put mulch on top of the soil. It holds the moisture. This is saving water from you using the house water again.

Did you know that 1% of the water on the earth is for drinking? That is like when your family goes to a buffet and there are 100 French fries and you are the only person who has to get one.

Since my family has heard about it, we have done everything that is correct about saving water. Once you start, it will feel good. I know this is all new for you or maybe it is not, but you should always save water.

Water Conservation

Marietta citizens, hear this.

Some people have stopped saving water. I'll just tell you it's really easy to do. One way you can save water is by showering quickly every day and turning the water off while brushing your teeth.

I'm writing this for you to save water. You could even save water by watering your garden in the morning and evening, but not the afternoon. There are many ways to save water. You can make a big difference only by saving water.

You can do it with a rain barrel to collect rain to water your plants or use a bucket. When you are shower is heating up, you could put something under in your shower to collect the cold water for watering your plants.

Why should you save water? You should save water because water helps you more than you can imagine! Well, also food, but you can survive without food for a month, but without water you can only survive for a week.

Thank you for listening, and I know you can do it, Marietta citizens.

Dear people of America,

Let's learn about conservation!

What is Conservation?

Conservation is careful use and protection of natural resources.

Why should you conserve water?

One reason: So the water doesn't go to waste. Second reason: So your water bill doesn't go up. Third reason: So you don't use it all up.

How can you conserve water?

Well there are so many ways to save water. I'll give you a few. Use mulch. It holds moisture. Take quick showers, drink from a reusable water bottle, turn off your faucet when brushing teeth. Now do you get it? I do and I'm also not going to use a lot of water.
