Since McCain used his war record, then it is open for critical review. I will also remind you that the war in Viet Nam was not supported by millions and millions people in the US, it had no purpose and it was a dismal failure. The French, the Chinese and the Japanese were in Viet Nam fighting for power before the US and they lost also. Sooner or later the Viet Namese were going to be left alone. We as a nation wasted over 58,000 young lives. The veterans of Viet Nam deserve better and they are still dying. A very good friend of mine died two years ago due to cancer caused by exposure to Agent Orange. I watched a once healthy man waste away, caused by a war that ended so many years ago. The VA system in this country which is supposed to take care of our veterans has failed in that responsibility. So don't lecture me about veterans and McCain's war record.
