Foley, your comments on the ad taken out by 500 general officers and admirals in support of Romney?

I can't wait to hear the spin on this one. Remember, even Gen. Hugh Shelton (Clinton's snuffy) signed the ad that appeared in the Wash Times today, Nov. 5th.

Obviously, Obama relieving (even arresting) the commanders in the field who were responding aginst orders to stand down and would've assisted our people in Benghazi didn't sit well with the generals (including former commandants of the Marines, the first woman general, etc). As my husband (30 year veteran of the Marine Corps)said: "This is as close to a military coup as we will ever see in America. This is HUGE, so huge, the civilian media will never even know what questions to ask."

Obama has a problem with his role as CinC. It's not going away, even if he's re-elected. Defend this. Defend his inaction on Benghazi. Defend his lies to America and the United Nations. Just try.

I see Foley has gotten the word from on high that the new and trendy term is "low information voter." Most amusing: he doesn't realize Republican Herman Cain coined the term, not the DNC.

You make these mistakes, Foley, when you don't listen to the woman in charge of Doug Stoner's talking points, the DNC stooge who thinks she runs all the Dems in Cobb. We MUST only repeat the party line, right?

As of October 30, it's clear that President O was present during the seven plus hour battle raging in Benghazi, in which two courageous and honorable former SEALS defied the White House's orders to stand down so they could rescue 30 plus Americans from being abandoned by the politicians and attacked by forces aligned with enemy #1.

It's clear that Obama watched them die after refusing to send reinforcements, either that or he went to bed in the middle of the firefight, as Tyrone Woods sat on a lonely, godforsaken and Obamaforsaken rooftop lasing at least one source of fire, waiting for help that would not be forthcoming.

It's also clear that the White House, Hilary, and others formulated some weird excuse about an anti-Muslim video, scapegoating a guy who they knew would garner no sympathy from anyone and then repeatedly lying about the whole affair, as if patriots or the media would never ask for details. The lone citizen sits in jail with the full weight of the president's lie ruining whatever life he once had. Even if it wasn't stellar, that man could be any one of us, thrown in jail because of a you tube post the president didn't like.

The media so far (except FOX)has stayed on the Obama plantation, people like Foley have stayed in denial, but the truth is coming out.

Obama abandoned our people, it's clear, and in the process, at least two field-grade military officers have been relieved of their duty (in the region) and re-assigned. Perhaps with a threat to their pensions, Chicago-style. The American mainstream media, including the Associated Press, have abandoned their principles to support this lying president.

Budget or not, it was Obama's responsibility to see that this did not occur, yet it occurred. It was then his responsiblity to see it through, which he did not. He couldn't even look the family of the murdered Americans in the eye, while his VP crassly referenced their private parts in his lame attempt at humor in a tragedy. Bozos running the country. Let's get rid of them.

Kevin, it is just a bit hypocritical of you to write this articla blaming tax cutting for this tragedy, a supposition evidenced by nothing other than your opinion,and flatly denied by the administration, then post a quote from Gen. Kean, basically saying, "It is time to drop it and move on." If you truly believed that, you would not have wasted your time writing this ridiculous article.

As long as we're throwing around numbers, budgets, funding and such, take a look-see at Erin Burnett on CNN. In two recent segments on her blog OutFront, she utterly disemboweled, eviscerated and emasculated Obama's new 20 page "A Plan for Jobs" claptrap.

According to a recent WSJ article, “Democrats take the Ryan budget's across-the-board reductions in nondefense discretionary spending and EXTRAPOLATE [emphasis added] them to State. But the Ryan budget never got into embassy security, nor did it become law.”



I call this creative numerology. Said differently, these numbers are like sausage; you really don’t want to know what’s in them.



The same WSJ article goes on to say, “For three years, House Republicans increased spending on the "Worldwide Security Protection" account in State's appropriation. The security account for physical "upgrades" to embassy buildings fell to $688 million from $775 million for fiscal year 2013, but the Administration itself asked to reduce funding.”

I'll be happy to provide SOURCE documents for these numbers.

Foley is mixing apples and oranges. The issue is not whether the GOP voted for budget cuts, but whether those budget cuts were responslble for the lax security at the embassy, Thus far, the administration has denied that the two are related.

When it was first brought out that the ambassador had requested extra security, the administration's response was that there was "no actionable intelligence" to justify it. They did not say, "We didn't have the money." It is only liberal hacks, like Foley, who try to make that erroneous connection.

Further, it has been pointed out, and rightly so, that the President had access to ground, sea and air troops all around the area. These are troops that move at his command. Many of them could have been there in a matter of minutes, even had Obama waited until after the attack started.

Had he assigned additional militay personnel to the embassy, when the ambassador requested them. I might point out that he was in a far better position to know what he needed than Obama or Clinton.

Sorry, Foley, another strike out for you.

Foley, apparently you and your alter ego have not been keeping abreast of recent developments. First, it was acknoweldged that budget cuts had nothing to do with this lack of security. Sorry, but that came from someone in authority, who knows. Not from Fox news or the liberal leaning MSNBC.

Second, it has also been dicovered that the adminsitration knew within two hours of the attack that it was a planned terrorist raid, yet Obama and company persisted, for oevr a week, with the foolishness that it was a spontaneous reaction to a stupid video.

Sorry, Foley, but if anyone is making this issue aq sideshow and putting our allies in Danger, it is uninformed hacks like you and, of course,your wonder boy in the White House and his cohorts.
